Desert mirage
This painting reveals two faces within the composition, layered together in abstraction. One larger, one smaller, they speak to each other through form and colour, almost like a dialogue frozen on canvas. As I painted, I thought about human connection, how we share space, how our energies overlap, and how identity is shaped in relationship with others. For me, this was about portraying intimacy and contrast, strength and vulnerability side by side. On the wall, it becomes more than just imagery, it’s an encounter that adds depth and intrigue to the room.
